In several weeks, JSP will be launching the new Work Experience & Training Program!!
As an employer, you can be a provider of meaningful work experience employment to our Job Seekers.
We select those of our clients who are best suited to the available position and whose health is managed.
Our selected Job Seekers are engaged in an intensive 8 week program to facilitate their re-entry to the workplace.
The Job Seeker will have demonstrated their willingness to work by undertaking skills training and other activities designed to improve their readiness for work.
Many Job Seekers will have completed certificated or tertiary qualifications in particular fields.
This program consists of two days per week with 4 hours per day work experience and 2 hours per day targeted skills training.
JSP provides you and your trainee Job Seeker with ongoing support through regular contact, communication and mentoring, to ensure their success within your workplace.
We bear all wages costs for the work experience period. Additional wages support is available for ongoing employment.
Wages costs at award rates will be fully reimbursed for the 8 week period at 8 hours per week. Penalty rates are not applicable.
Other support is available for the employer and the Job Seeker on an individual basis.
A brief unpaid work trial can be arranged prior to commencing the paid work period.
No commitment to ongoing employment beyond the program period is implied.
If ongoing employment is offered during or at the end of the training period there are a number of additional financial incentives that may be offered to eligible employers.
